Dear Prospective 2013 Exhibitors & Past Supporters:
APO will be hosting its 29th annual convention October 23-25, 2013 in Niagara Falls, Ontario at the Sheraton On The Falls Hotel. Last year we exceeded our registration goal once again and celebrated another successful convention. Our annual convention is a fantastic opportunity to promote your company and products, as we are anticipating between 350-375 delegates from across the province to be in attendance. Last year we had a delegates travel from as far away as Thunder Bay and Timmins, Ontario.
Activity Professionals of Ontario (APO) is a non-profit organization of recreation specialists dedicated to educating, networking and development in the activity discipline. Recreational and leisure needs are an essential component of social health and well being in our senior population. APO is working diligently with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, affiliated professionals and educators to develop Best Practices for the provision of Recreation and Leisure services in geriatric and long term care settings.
Every year we strive to better accommodate our Exhibitor’s needs. We have increased the amount of time the delegates are exposed to the exhibit hall by dedicating one, half hour break on Thursday to be IN the exhibit hall. As well the exhibit package includes breakfast and lunch for one with the delegates. If you require more than one meal allowance then please contact to make arrangements. The exhibit hall is located close to other important delegate areas to ensure high traffic in the hall. We hope these changes will be a benefit to your business. Display areas during the convention will be open for setup following the usual format of our convention.
Our annual convention is a excellent opportunity for you to access and advertise to Activity Professionals from all over Ontario. We are soliciting exhibitors who are involved in the long term care and retirement setting and wish to market their product. There are several options for involvement and advertising. Please respond before promptly to ensure adequate time for acknowledge your generosity and establish your package details.
